Solodyn Tablets

People with moderate-to-severe acne may benefit from Solodyn® (minocycline hydrochloride). This medication comes in a special tablet that releases the active ingredient into the body throughout the day. This tetracycline antibiotic works by interfering with bacteria's ability to make protein, which prevents bacteria from growing and multiplying.
Because the tablets could irritate the esophagus, possibly leading to ulcers, you may find it best to take Solodyn with food. In addition, you should try to take your dose at the same time each day to maintain an even level of Solodyn in your system.
