Solodine

Were you looking for information on Solodyn? Solodine is a common misspelling of Solodyn.

Solodyn® (minocycline hydrochloride) is a medication approved for the treatment of acne that is characterized by red, inflamed, pus-filled bumps. People age 12 and older can take it; however, it is not appropriate for everyone.

For example, people with cirrhosis, hepatitis, or other liver problems may not be able to take it. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also consider a different acne treatment. By providing your healthcare provider with a complete medical history and a detailed list of all medications you are currently taking, she or he can determine if Solodyn is right for your situation.
