Were you looking for information on Solodyn? Solodine is a common misspelling of Solodyn.
Solodyn® (minocycline hydrochloride) is a medication approved for the treatment of acne that is characterized by red, inflamed, pus-filled bumps. People age 12 and older can take it; however, it is not appropriate for everyone.
For example, people with cirrhosis, hepatitis, or other liver problems may not be able to take it. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also consider a different acne treatment. By providing your healthcare provider with a complete medical history and a detailed list of all medications you are currently taking, she or he can determine if Solodyn is right for your situation.
(Click Solodyn for more detailed information, including how this antibiotic works, possible side effects, and when and how to take it. You can also click any of the links in the box to the right for specific information.)
