Minocin 100 mg Capsules

Minocin® (minocycline hydrochloride) is a prescription antibiotic approved for several uses, including acne and bacterial infections. The recommended dosage of Minocin for most types of bacterial infections is 200 mg to start, followed by a 100 mg Minocin capsule, taken twice a day for 4 to 15 days.

However, your Minocin dosage will depend on several factors, such as the condition being treated, your weight (for children), other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you are taking.

It is important to take Minocin with plenty of water (or other fluids) while in an upright position, in order to prevent the medication from irritating the throat. It does not matter what time of day you take this medication. However, it should be taken at the same times each day to maintain an even level of the medication in your system.
