Fabior Drug Interactions

Fabior Drug Interactions Explained

The following sections explain in detail the potentially negative interactions that can occur when Fabior is combined with any of the drugs listed above.

Fluoroquinolones
Both Fabior and fluoroquinolones may increase a person's sensitivity to the sun. If you use these medications together, be aware that you may burn much more quickly. Stay out of the sun if possible, and use protective clothing and sunscreen when necessary. Check with your healthcare provider before using these medications together.

Other Acne Medications
In general, Fabior should not be combined with other skin products that have a strong tendency to dry out the skin. If you have any doubt, check with your healthcare provider first. Benzoyl peroxide medications, including many different prescription and nonprescription products, should be used at a different time of day than Fabior, as combining these products can cause a chemical reaction that makes Fabior less effective.

Phenothiazines
Both Fabior and phenothiazines may increase a person's sensitivity to the sun. If you use these medications together, be aware that you may burn much more quickly. Stay out of the sun if possible, and use protective clothing and sunscreen when necessary. Check with your healthcare provider before using these medications together.

Sulfonamides
Both Fabior and sulfonamides may increase a person's sensitivity to the sun. If you use these medications together, be aware that you may burn much more quickly. Stay out of the sun if possible, and use protective clothing and sunscreen when necessary. Check with your healthcare provider before using these medications together.

Tetracyclines
Both Fabior and tetracyclines may increase a person's sensitivity to the sun. If you use these medications together, be aware that you may burn much more quickly. Stay out of the sun if possible, and use protective clothing and sunscreen when necessary. Check with your healthcare provider before using these medications together.
