Serious Reactions to Dynacin

Side Effects to Report

Some Dynacin side effects are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Darkening of skin, nails, eyes, or teeth, which is often a purple, blue, or gray, bruise-like appearance
  • Severe throat pain or difficulty swallowing
  • Water, bloody, or severe diarrhea
  • Severe stomach cramps
  • Blurred vision
  • Unusual headaches
  • Joint pain, stiffness, or swelling
  • Muscle pain or weakness
  • Fever or chills
  • Fatigue or extreme weakness or tiredness
  • Unusual bruising or bleeding
  • Severe pain in the upper stomach or back
  • Signs of liver problems, such as:

    • Dark urine
    • Loss of appetite
    • Fatigue or excessive tiredness
    • Pain in the right upper part of the stomach
    • Yellowing of the whites of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
 
  • Extreme sunburn
  • Numbness, tingling, or prickling sensations of the skin
  • Any skin rash or blistering of the skin
  • Dry cough and shortness of breath
  • Hearing problems
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
  •  
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling of the mouth or throat
    • Wheezing or difficulty breathing or swallowing.

You may experience some or none of the side effects listed in this article. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have problems with a medicine that you have never tried.
 
Therefore, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects while using Dynacin.
