  • Dynacin comes in tablet form. It is usually taken by mouth two to four times daily.
  •
  • This medication can be taken with or without food.
  •
  • Try to take your doses at the same times each day to keep an even level of the medication in your bloodstream.
  •
  • Take Dynacin with a full glass of liquid, and do not lie down immediately after taking it. This helps reduce the chance that the drug will cause irritation or ulcers in your throat.
  •
  • This medication should be swallowed whole. Do not chew, crush, or cut the tablets.
  •
  • For the medication to work properly, it must be used as prescribed. Be sure to take all your Dynacin, even if you feel better. Stopping treatment too soon may cause your infection to return or increase the chance that bacteria will become resistant to Dynacin.
