Differin
® (
adapalene) is one of many different prescription
acne medications currently available. It comes in the form of a gel, lotion, and cream, and is available in various strengths.
Regardless of whether you are prescribed the lotion, cream, or gel, the standard dosage of Differin is typically the same -- apply a thin layer to the affected areas once daily just before bedtime. Do not use more than a small amount, as it could increase your risk of skin irritation and does not increase the effectiveness of the medication. Possible side effects include skin burning, redness, or scaling.
