Diferin

Were you looking for information about Differin? Diferin is a common misspelling of Differin.

If you have acne, you may benefit from Differin® (adapalene). This prescription medication works by slowing down the rapid growth of skin cells and by reducing inflammation. It comes in the form of a gel, lotion, or cream, and is applied on the affected area once daily (just before bedtime).

Although most people tolerate the medication well, it is not suitable for everyone. Before beginning treatment with this drug, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medical conditions you have and any other medications you are taking (including nonprescription medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements).
