Clendomycin

Were you looking for information about Clindamycin? Clendomycin is a common misspelling of clindamycin.

If you have a bacterial infection, your healthcare provider may prescribe clindamycin. As part of a class of drugs known as lincosamide antibiotics, this medication works by interfering with bacteria's ability to grow and multiply. This prescription drug comes in several forms, including capsules, lotions, gels, foams, vaginal suppositories or creams, an oral solution, or as an injection. Because clindamycin is not suitable for everyone, talk to your healthcare provider about any other medical conditions you may have and any other medications you are taking before starting treatment.
