Who Makes Claravis?

Claravis™ (isotretinoin) is licensed to treat severe nodular acne that has not responded to other treatments. If your healthcare provider recommends this acne medication, you may be wondering who makes Claravis.
 
Claravis is manufactured by Barr Laboratories, Inc. (a company that is now owned by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA). It is a generic version of Accutane®, a brand-name drug that is no longer manufactured. Claravis capsules come in the following strengths:

  • Claravis 20 mg
