Benzamycin Gel

Available in the form of a skin gel, Benzamycin® (erythromycin/benzoyl peroxide) can help treat acne in adults and adolescents as young as 12 years old.

There is only one standard dosage of this medication -- a thin layer applied to the affected areas twice daily, in the morning and evening. Using too much Benzamycin or using the gel more often than twice a day can increase your risk of skin irritation, without increasing the effectiveness of the drug.

Although most people do not experience any problems with Benzamycin, this product is not suitable for everyone. Possible side effects may include skin reactions, such as dryness, redness, or itching.
