General Information on Your Accutane Dosage

Some considerations for people taking Accutane include the following:
 
  • The medication comes in capsule form. It is usually taken by mouth twice a day with food.
     
  • It is important to take Accutane with food, as taking it on an empty stomach significantly decreases its absorption.
     
  • For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed.
     
  • If you are unsure about anything related to your dosage or Accutane dosing in general, please talk with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
